Bret discusses the ways his SLP background has served him, new skills he's had to learn, and different ideas for SLPs looking to make a similar transition.

Jessica is the principal investigator of the BEaR Lab (Brain Injury, Education, and Rehabilitation) and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the questions they're seeking answers to, how this affects clinical practice, and how it might change policy in the future. She shares insightful info that SLPs can directly apply to their work today as well as considerations for the future work we have yet to do! 266 – The Dysphagia Pathways Program: Palliative Dysphagia Management – Mechelle Motsinger, MA, CCC-SLP

Maybe they still want to eat, because food makes their life enjoyable, but they don't want to be a DNR? What's the SLP's role in the decision-making process in palliative dysphagia management?
